AWARDS and RECOGNITION
for Community Service-Learning

Each year, thousands of Maryland students, faculty and staff spend hundreds of thousands of hours volunteering out in the community. Throughout the year we often see amazing students, student organizations, faculty, staff and community partners doing amazing things. We believe it is absolutely a must to recognize the extraordinary efforts put forth by these individuals and organizations.

Recognition comes in many forms. It can be a simple 'thank you', a gift of thanks, or a pat on the back. It can also be more formal such as awards of appreciation. Below are two categories of awards that you can nominate a fellow student, faculty, staff, student organization, or community partner. You can even nominate yourself!
