The Environment
  Pollution, global warming, acid rain, waste, and energy resources are a few of the environmental issues that affect us. You can help protect and preserve the environment by doing restoration projects, promoting the message about the importance of recycling, working on legislative campaigns, and much more. Below are just a few organizations that welcome your assistance as they work to create and maintain a clean and healthy environment.

Department of Natural Resources: Tree-Mendous Maryland

A forest service program helping Marylanders plant and care for trees and shrubs on public land for the health of the natural environmental, in particular the Chesapeake Bay. Volunteers participate in tree plantings.
