Community Service-Learning has gathered a large number of resources to assist students, faculty, and staff in finding service opportunities, information on creating a quality service-learning experience, and examples of reflection opportunities. These resources can be found on this web site or by visiting our office at 0110 Adele H. Stamp Student Union.

Course Objectives:

• To increase understanding of the relationship between service and leadership.
  
• To engage in community service and critical reflection in order to gain a deeper understanding of issues related to diversity, social justice, community, and civic engagement.
  
• To gain an understanding of and appreciation for multiple perspectives and how power and privilege shape these perspectives.
  
• To examine, analyze, and reflect on issues connected to the service experience and community service more broadly.
  
• To explore and develop personal values of service and leadership through critical analysis of social issues, reflection, and practice.
